Punjab Kings defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by five runs in the thrilling match of IPL 2021 on the back of a brilliant performance by the bowlers led by Ravi Bishnoi (3/24).

Batting first, Punjab Kings scored 125 for seven in 20 overs. Chasing the target, the Hyderabad team could only manage 120 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs on the help of an unbeaten 47 with the help of five sixes off 29 balls by Jason Holder. Apart from Bishnoi for Punjab, Mohammed Shami took two wickets while Arshdeep Singh got one wicket.

Chasing the target, Hyderabad had a poor start and they lost the wickets of David Warner (2), captain Kane Wilmson (1) and Manish Pandey (13) for a total of 32.
