Damoh at number two in the country: Damoh once again emerges in aspirational districts, NITI Aayog released ranking
BD Sharma, Damoh. Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh has once again come at number two in the new ranking of NITI Aayog regarding Aspirational District. In the ranking announced by NITI Aayog, Damoh has emerged as number 2 among 112 aspirational districts across the country.
Collector S Krishna Chaitanya said that under the aspirational district program of NITI Aayog, the program is being run continuously in the district. Under this, efforts are being made to work continuously in five themes. He told that Damoh district is at second rank in the entire country in the composite score, while the month-wise rate of progress, in which delta rank progress is shown, the district also stood second in the country.
Talking about the composite score, the score in health and nutrition was 84.6 in December and 85.2 in January, while the score in education was 73.4 in December and 73.4 in January. Similarly, December 34.7 in Agriculture and Water Resources and 35.2 in January and Financial Inclusion and Skill Development in December 32 and January 49.6. December has been 84.9 in Basic Infrastructure and 85 in January.
